Kun Shan University (KSU) commemorated its 61st anniversary on April 18 with a grand gala concert titled “Perfect Harmony and Perfect Timing: Music in Motion at 61.” The event served as a dual celebration, marking the centennial of the late founder Chen-ho Lee’s birth and paying a tribute to his lifelong dedication to education -- whose name and vision inspired the concert’s theme.

During the ceremony, Present Tien-Shang Lee conferred an Honorary Doctorate upon Richard Soon, Chairman of CHIMEI FOOD. The degree was presented in the presence of the Presidential Senior Advisor Jong-chin Shen, recognizing Chairman Soon’s exceptional contributions to industry upgrading through technological innovation, international engagement, and academia-industry collaboration.
