Kun Shan University celebrated a significant achievement by winning five prestigious honors at the Taiwan University Sustainability Awards, organized by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE). The awards ceremony took place on November 20th at the Grand Hotel in Taipei.
Modeled after the long-established Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA), which has been running for 17 years, the inaugural Taiwan University Sustainability Awards aims to encourage higher education institutions to embrace social responsibility and advance sustainability initiatives.
KSU’s accolades include being named one of Taiwan’s Top 10 Excellent Sustainable Universities, earning a silver medal for Sustainability Reporting, and securing individual awards for Leadership in Environmental Management, Leadership in Education for Sustainable Development, and Leadership in Climate Action.
Among Taiwan's universities of technology, KSU topped the list in the number of awards received, affirming its leadership in sustainability efforts. This recognition highlights KSU's unwavering dedication to promoting sustainable practices both within the campus and throughout the broader community.
