KSU welcomed nearly 2,500 new students to the campus for the 2024 academic year. The freshman orientation, held on September 9th, brought together local and international students under the theme "Joyful Welcome: A Fresh Start." The event featured a special performance by the renowned signer and songwriter Hua Chen, creating a festive atmosphere. In addition to the musical highlights, department orientations and club fairs were organized to help the new students get acquainted with campus life and explore various extracurricular opportunities.

KSU further revealed plans for a major initiative coinciding with its upcoming 60th anniversary celebration next year. The University will partner with several listed companies to secure the funding from the Ministry of Education’s “Establishment Plan for Regional Industry Talent and Technology Incubation Base”, generating much anticipation.
