The fourth "University Social Responsibility" (USR) Awards by Global Views Monthly Magazine were presented on April 11th, 2023. Kun Shan University's project "Green Demand, Sustainable Development, and Internationalization in Yongkang Industrial Zone and Nearby Areas" helped achieve the goal of ecological co-benefits in areas such as the Yongkang Industrial Zone and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam by improving air quality, conserving water, reducing pollution, and saving energy. As a result, it received many accolades. Kun Shan University not only won the "Model of the Year" award in the "Ecology Co-benefit" category for the second consecutive year, but it was also the only private university of technology in Taiwan to receive this honor.
