Covid-19 as been going on for these recent two years and although it has been kept under control here in the nation, it has prevented many overseas Chinese students from returning home to their countries in order to celebrated the Lunar New Year. Therefore, the Kun Shan University Office of Student Affairs and the Kun Shan University Overseas Students Club cooperated to hold a student and faculty Lunar New Year Party on January 7th. KSU Executive Vice President Chen-Yen Chung, KSU Office of Student Affairs Dean Shei-Hsi Chang, KSU Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs Head Yueh-Feng Chuang, and faculty and students all were in attendance to have fun writing Lunar New Year red couplets meaning Lunar New Year, prosperity, high academic grades in order to bring in the new Lunar New Year with good luck. The attendees also got a chance to eat traditional Chinese food, use red envelopes to make art, and participate in a lottery.
