Over the years the Republic of China (Taiwan) Ministry of Education has been promoting the internationalization of university campuses and the nurturing of an international perspective among faculty, staff, and students. Additionally, youth in Taiwan have had a fondness for Korean popular culture for many years. Consequently, this year Kun Shan University officially established a King Sejong Institute Tainan and recently hosted a Korean Culture Week. During Korean Culture Week, KSU organized Korean culture static exhibits, special cuisine food displays including experiencing how to make kimchi, and also performances by the KSU K-Pop Dance Club.
After the four-day period of Korean Culture Week ended, many activities still will be held and will continue until December 23rd such as the activity that every Wednesday Korean movies will be shown in the KSU Mega Theater which is located in the KSU Library and Information Center. All are welcome.
