The Kun Shan University Office of Student Affairs recently held a barbecue welcoming activity in order to facilitate and develop the cultural experiences of KSU international students by having an opportunity to socialize with students from different nations. More than 200 international students from 18 nations were in attendance and they enjoyed meeting each other tasting delicious barbecued foods.
Since every nation has different customs and traditions, participating in an event like this gives an opportunity also for the students to taste popular foods in Taiwan such as meat slices, tempura, and other dishes eaten during different seasons. Additionally, although the international students native languages are different they happily worked together to share with each other their home nations’ history and culture during this fun event.
