The Kun Shan University Department of Food and Beverage Management and Culinary Arts during this academic year cooperated with National Tseng-Wen Home Economics and Commerce High School to participate in the Republic of China (Taiwan) Ministry of Education’s “Big Hand Holds Small Hand High School and University Foreign Student Exchange Program”. Recently, KSU faculty members led local vocational high school students to visit the KSU campus to explore the various tastes and cooking techniques of many different exotic cuisines prepared by KSU international students. Dishes included Bengawan Solo, Coconut Thai Curry Chicken, Pandan Rice, and Zebra Cheese Tower. Additionally, by means of experiencing the foreign foods, the high school students also were able to enjoy a measure of cross-cultural exchanges with KSU foreign students.
